Skovshoved Hotel’s history dates back to 1660, where it started out as a modest seaside hotel in the then rural fishing village of Skovshoved. Since then the hotel has undergone a number of changes and renovations. Today, this means that you can have both the modern and relaxed feeling at the same time.

Lige overfor Skovshoved Hotel står Skovserpigen, en bronzeskulptur af Vivian Rose, opstillet i 2003.
Hun fortæller en lille del af historien om Skovshoved, der oprindeligt var et fiskerleje. Herfra drog fiskerne ud på Øresund, mens skovserkonerne solgte dagens fangst på fiskemarkedet i København 🌊
I dag er fiskerbådene erstattet af lystbåde, og meget har forandret sig. Men de gamle huse, de små stræder og stemningen omkring havnen fortæller stadig historien om det gamle fiskerleje.
