Skovshoved Hotel is located in charming Skovshoved, one of Copenhagen's most exclusive areas just 7 kilometres from the city centre. There are many good shopping areas nearby; Jægerborgs Allé, Strandvejen in Hellerup and Ordrupvej, etc.

A bus departs from outside the hotel to Copenhagen and a train station within walking distance. Within 15 minutes it is possible to be in downtown Copenhagen to enjoy the city's culture, cafes, restaurants, theatres and nightlife.

One can enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature close to Skovshoved Hotel. It is possible to arrange a tour in a horse-drawn carriage or to rent one of the hotel's bicycles for a trip through the Royal Hunting Grounds (Dyrehaven) to watch deer wander freely. We also arrange guided walking trips through the historical fishing village of Skovshoved to learn the history of the area.

There is a private bathing jetty for hotel guests or two of Copenhagen's best beaches within walking distance - Bellevue Beach or Charlottenlund Strandpark. Copenhagen's oldest golf club, Copenhagen golf club, is located only a few kilometres away. For children, Bakken (The world's oldest operating amusement park form 1583), Eksperimentarium, and Danmarks Aquarium are nearby.
